Because LittleBytes is directed at children, have a lawyer review this against your actual data practices and applicable law (e.g. COPPA in the US, and relevant child-data provisions in India and any other markets you launch in) before public launch.

What we collect

LittleBytes does not require an account, email address, or any personal contact information to use. When you set up practice for a child, we ask for a first name and grade level. This information, along with practice progress (coins, streaks, accuracy by skill), is stored only in your device's local browser storage — it is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we do not have access to it.

What we don't do

We do not show advertising of any kind.
We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs.
We do not sell or share data, because we do not collect any on our servers in this version of the app.

Voice and audio

Question prompts are read aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech feature. Audio is generated locally on your device and is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.

If you add accounts or a backend later

This policy will need to be rewritten before introducing any feature that sends data to a server — including cross-device progress sync, the parent WhatsApp progress card (if implemented server-side), workbook ordering, or school/B2B dashboards. Each of those involves handling a child's data or a parent's contact/payment information and should be reviewed individually.
